Feature Release
COMMSFLOW
Automatically remind task owers to complete their uncompleted tasks
Blameless provides the option to automatically remind users who own one or more uncompleted tasks to complete their tasks (mark as complete), via email, SMS, Slack or Microsoft Teams.
Exclude reminders for incidents older than a specific age
Incidents older than a specific number of days can be configured per reminder flow types. The default value is 30 days.
New Blameless Event Type: "Incident Created"
"Incident Created" Event Type added to CommsFlow Wizard and advanced filtering.
INCIDENT MANAGEMENT
Map assignee for a Follow Up Action (FUA) to a Slack/Teams user when Jira disabled
When users are creating follow up actions (FUA) from Slack, Teams or the Blameless UI and Jira is disabled, the follow up action can now be assigned to a Slack user if the integration with Slack is enabled or a Teams user, if integrated with Teams. If Jira is enabled, the follow up action can be assigned to a Jira user only.
New description field separate from the incident title
A new description field is now available per incident and is separate from the incident title. The incident title can be set and edited separately from the incident description field in the Blameless UI and in Slack. To update the incident title from within Slack using the Blameless Bot, you must use the following command: /blameless set title. To update the incident description, use this command: /blameless set description.
Note that the Blameless APIs (v1) used to create, get and update an incident remain unchanged however the schema of the JSON payload includes the new parameter “summary” to capture or retrieve the incident description, while the parameter “description” remains to hold the incident title.
Preserve Filters on the incident list
When set, advanced filters are now preserved when navigating from and to the incident list page using the web browser back and forward arrows. The filtered incident list can also be bookmarked in your web browser, as the settings selected in the advanced filter are preserved as parameters in the URL.
