Release Notes: October 2021
Bug Fixes 10/29/2021
Reliability Insights Timezone (UTC) does not honor Org TZ. (YD-328 / Zendesk 159)
Issue:
Incident data shown in Reliability Insights is set in UTC, however the Incidents page will reflect the time zone in the Settings Org Tab. This will have discrepancies in what is shown in RI vs the created dates in Incidents.
Fix:
Date and Times are displayed in UTC and the user is alerted to this via the info snackbar and icon.
Jira Webhook Errors if There are Multiple Actions With The Same TicketID (YD-344)
Issue:
The Webhook was expecting a single action to be returned. Which means that this errors if more than one action is linked to the same Jira (or ServiceNow) ticketID.
Fix:
Blameless now supports multiple Actions with the same Ticket ID.
Cannot Close Slack Swimlane if Swimlane.Title > 75 characters (YD-345)
Issue:
If you have a Swimlane Title greater than 75 characters, customers cannot close the Swimlane, due to a Slack API error.
Fix:
Characters are truncated for the "Close Swimlane" dialog.
"/blameless start incident" doesn't show up if the severity label is longer than 75 characters (YD-346)
Issue:
Users are unable to create incidents from Slack if the severity labels are longer than 75 characters. This forces them into using the Web UI to create the Incident.
Fix:
Blameless is limiting the Label for Slack. The user can add more that 75 characters, but for the Slack Label truncates at 75 characters.
Reliability Insights breaks when the Severity Label is too long (YD-347)
Issue:
Reliability Insight breaks when Severity labels are too long (more than 75 characters).
Fix:
Blameless is truncating the Severity Label character length for Reliability Insights. The user can add more than 75 characters, but the Label truncates at 75 characters in the display.
Adding an image or text file overwrites existing text when editing or creating an event (EN-1927)
Issue:
Cannot add an image AND text without overwriting the initial addition (be it text or image file).
Fix:
The Blameless "Add Event" now supports adding both text and image to the "Add Event" window.
Trailing space validation for tasks in the WebUI. (EN-4156)
Issue:
Sometimes users add tasks in settings where the text has a trailing space. This creates issues downstream, where when the user completes the task in the slack checklist, the strikethrough does not display as expected.
Fix:
The front end checks for and removes these spaces before they can cause issues.
