Tag Management
Tagging incidents with custom tags is one of the key features Blameless offers. This allows users to add context to their incidents and to help with the investigation during and after the resolution of an incident, during retrospectives, and post-incidents activities, such as Analytics like Reliability Insights.
Within this section, you can add a category as well as create custom applications of tags and categories to your Incidents.
Default Tag Categories
Blameless provides the following default categories appear in the Blameless UI:
- Contributing Factor
- Customer
- Product
- Service
All Tag categories default to Uppercase, regardless of how they are entered. These are not case-sensitive.
These Categories can be used as is, or as an organizer for custom values. Blameless allows you to create custom Incident Tag Categories using the +Add Category option.
